RESUMO

O estudo objetiva analisar a configuração socioespacial dos municípios no Litoral Norte do estado do Rio Grande do Sul, através do estudo da articulação entre a dinâmica demográfica e a produção imobiliária. A região de estudo compreende os vinte municípios da Aglomeração Urbana do Litoral Norte do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul. A partir da década de 1990, as emancipações de alguns municípios do Litoral Norte do estado induziram os fluxos migratórios. Identificando os fluxos migratórios juntamente com o processo de urbanização, conseguiremos entender a configuração da região estudada.

ABSTRACT

The study aims to analyze the socio-spatial configuration of the municipalities in the North Coast of the state of Rio Grande do Sul, through the study of the articulation between demographic dynamics and real estate production. The study area comprises the twenty municipalities of the Urban Agglomeration of the Northern Coast of the State of Rio Grande do Sul. Since the 1990s, the emancipations of some municipalities in the State’s North Coast have induced migratory flows. Identifying migratory flows along with the urbanization process, we will be able to understand the configuration of the studied region.
